Plan for my Final Plan

My goals of the Gorst Creek Watershed My goals of taking this class was to help me understand watersheds a little bit more clearly and to learn about the watersheds close to where I live here in Washington State. I used a watershed that is going to be considered in Kitsap County called Gorst Creek Watershed. Though this watershed is not technically developed, I want to use this opportunity as an educational product to help understand those, like myself, who do not understand the use of watersheds. The tool I am using is an educational outreach pamphlet of the potential development of the watershed. The pamphlet will include a topographical map, flora and fauna, the basics of a watershed, including storm water facts and how the watershed connects to our water sources. I want to also include how people can contribute positively to watersheds by preventing pollutants running off into their storm drains.
